Important notice about your order information
We are writing to inform you of a security incident affecting your order with our shop.
What happened
Between 14 and 17 October 2026, an unauthorised third party accessed “WASABI SWITCH”, an order management system provided by WASABI Inc. (Japan) that we use to manage our orders, and information about your order was taken.
Information involved
Your name, e-mail address, phone number, postal address, order date and order number, payment method, order amount, order details (items, quantity and price), delivery name and address, and any notes entered with your order.
No credit card numbers were involved.
What has been done
WASABI Inc. has blocked the intrusion route, removed the malicious programs, forced a password change with mandatory two-step verification for all accounts, encrypted authentication data and strengthened monitoring. An external specialist has investigated the incident, and it has been reported to the Personal Information Protection Commission of Japan.
What you can do
– Be careful with e-mails, text messages, calls or letters that mention your order, especially those offering a “refund” or asking you to click a link, enter card or bank details, or contact someone on a messaging app. Similar suspicious e-mails have already been confirmed in Japan and overseas.
– We will never ask for your card details, bank details or passwords by e-mail, text or phone.
– If you think you have lost money, contact your bank or card issuer straight away and report it to the police.
More information and support
WASABI Inc. has set up an information site about this incident. It explains what happened, how the scams work and what to do, and answers frequently asked questions. You can also ask there whether you are affected, or ask for advice (available in English, Japanese, Korean and Traditional Chinese).
